Fair to middlin' of nowhere

You take my heart along
when you are gone.
You get away with a bit
of my sunshine too.
Never know quite what to do,
when I’m without you.
Everything seems so incomplete.
No one to remind to wipe their feet.
When I get up early,
no need to shut the door.
No one here to be quiet for.
The days drag on forever
and the nights are too long.
Without you, I don’t feel
like I’m half as strong.
At night when I kneel,
I pray for you dearly
to come back to me,
that God will keep you safely
in His Grace and care.
And that you know I love you,
no matter where you are.

I remember feeling this way, dear Lori. Stay strong in your faith and trust God to have His way.

I always have time for you...

My husband is at the Sturgis Bike Rally in South Dakota. He has gone for many years, I go when my work schedule doesn't conflict. Bike fatalities happen there every year so it is always good to get him back home.

This touched me so very, very much, my dear friend, Lori. S-o-o-o I take it from this that you didn't run around the house naked as you were going to do. Heh.Heh Good thinking.

Ah Jerry,
What can I say? There may have been that one time I left my dainties in the drier after my shower... but I'll never tell. ~L

Jimmy,
Beings as how you are a master of the mushy stuff (I assume drawing from personal experience) I'm not surprised you could catch the vibe on this one. ~L
