Shadow Flowers The best time for a poet is when Spring is new. Such an evening as this is worth all the treasures that have ever been. The purest scent of blossoms by pale moonlight, shadow flowers dancing everywhere, and the sound of distant evening bells as if from some better, nether would. All thoughts turn to virgin life spreading silently everywhere and the possibility that new Love too as yet might bloom. --- b. e. adams (3/2017) Poets hold such foolish trust That dreams are etched in more than dust |

Eh, maybe for you, Bruce. But I get off on all the seasons, probably because I don't normally write of the seasons, although I certainly do from time to time. Anyway, the seasons, except for the cold a** winter doesn't bother or inspire me more than the others. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

With a fierce N.W. Wind and a 'chill factor' of 5 degrees here ... I have to focus on Spring ! (... and, I've always been rather compelled to 'write the seasons' for some reason) |

Having grown up most of my life in the tropics, where there are no "seasons", just sun, rain, floods,whatever weather moods nature sends. I tend to write about these my past life. Today, I think it was -11F, and so windy here in North America, even writing about it freezes my muse. But I like your optimism looking forward for the coming of spring |

YES ... it most assuredly is ! [for me Spring and Autumn are the v. best of times although Autumn is rather bittersweet ... as a prelude only to Winter, it reminds one of all things passing] |
