I observe her smiling as she sunbathes
the highlights made by the sun in her hair
I see her take a deep breath and expel it
it conjures up fantasies she might tell
I shiver when I romanticize the touch
of her skin upon mine . . . the softness
I conjure up the honesty in her laugh
it calms me completely and I wish to be
drawn to herr velvet touch as it soon
turns into greediness with what it desires
in my fantasy she has laid her hands
on the absolute soul of me and unveiling
memories we have made together when
in fact we have never met in our lifetime
but I love her, it is a pure and simple love
her closeness conjures up a fixation and
especially when I smell her oh so delicious
scent making me think of beautiful wild
flowers because a wild flower she most certainly
has to be and it all seeks to give me is the
absolute purity of her scent of her wonderful
womanhood . . . as she walks away going in the
opposite direction of where I stand in awe
as she seeks out a man to embrace and offers him
her lips as I turn away refusing to watch I
blink and when my eyes open again she and the
man have disappeared as though they were never
there in the first place but I hear her laughter
know that in fact she was there for the briefness of
moments I look toward the sound of her laugh
it never returns and I wander the streets a hopeless
searching man vowing the next time I see her I
will not be so helpless of her beauty and sound of
her laughter . . . I wander . . . to the ends of time
