This Lonely Bed By Paul Wilson (Dedicated to all the women that suffer from abuse of any type) You’ve cried a million tears In this lonely bed where you lay Pillow now your only companion Tear stained memories all that’s left Tomorrow’s rise gives hope too many Today’s pain will engulf those that are weak Be strong we tell ourselves as we say How can we be strong alone Alone when this abuse began Alone you must stand your ground Alone accept it… or fight for freedom Alone you will be stronger each day He made you succumb to his control Words that stabbed you in the heart Making you his puppet on a string Always treating him like a king Lost is the love you once shared Replaced by memories of abuse, control and despair Together alone you share this lonely bed A wall of hopeless dreams separating you Tears fall again washing away memories of the good times Gone is the love replaced by hurt heartache and pain Time to accept the fact he won’t ever change His world is a sad place with no love to give Break the chains that keep you a prisoner His world is abuse and control ( Self Gratification ) Don’t be weak and give in to his will Stand up and take control Be strong and walk away Never to play his game again Be the strong woman you were another day ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul |

Nope, I have never abused a woman, Lori. I've left them, so I suppose that is a kind of abuse. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |
