Her kiss is worth waiting for, Lips like petals from a rose. Whether we have come together Rightly, or wrongly, We are here, You in your world, I in mine, Together. At night when slumber calls, I lose myself, Wandering among what we have wrought. We have constructed a world, Independent of kith or kin. I think about her more than a little. Our world is so unlimited, And our thoughts can carry us, Infinity stretches beyond our desires, We have boundless possibilities, To let our passions grow. I have deep, deep feelings for her, Some would call that love, I’ll not argue the finer points ©April 11, 2018 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Eh . . . Don't know how deep and meaningful it is, but every so often I delve into poems about love. They are just figments of my imagination. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

I'll remember to never argue the finer points. Well done. |
