 [photo I took on kite-flying day with grandson] How do I explore a limitless sky I am mere kite flying free unfettered to heights unknown no boundaries in sight No longer earthbound I break loose from strings that hold me captive, peer at loaves of clouds closing and parting to show horizons beyond the blue, follow a trail of mist floating like silken veil, dreaming of what magical places will dazzle me there. Below I see the white of breaking waves on the reef, the sun turning patches of sea silver, I am privileged and awed. I am not a leaf tossed in hurricane but an explorer of worlds uncharted pursuing all my days unfazed and bold. Come hold me and join my world. @jjote 02/27/2017 |
