Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I suppose I should apologize
for recent irreverent writings,
I say with sheepish grin.
But to be honest I’m not sorry
about where my head has been
that lets me write silly stuff like that.
It is me more than you know.
I revel in the abandon of the absurd.
I like to think my sarcasm sharp
with a  certain je ne sais quoi of sensuality.
Ah, but the creme de la creme is to laugh.
What a blessing is my own laughter!
To think upon it time and again
with smiles and chuckles is a gift.
My light is glowing brighter
on the echoes of my jokes.
And to think that maybe just one or two
are laughing along with me too
is icing on my cake .

You and I, Miss Lori, would enjoy sitting in a booth across from each other with two cups of coffee on the table.
Now then, how do we drink our coffees with boxing gloves on?
At least I have a chance. I drink mine black...

No "pass the cream and sugar please" for me!
