Fair to middlin' of nowhere

With a piece of paper
and a pen full of his heart,
he writes to her.
He sends her his love
in ways that make her smile
and dream of their future together.
The everyday things he tells her
lets her know home is ready
and waiting for her light to fill it.
His love is constant
as the air she breathes.
His desire for her
still catches her breath.
She hugs each envelope
to her breast,
just to hold him close.

Each line is as factual as if I'd written myself.
Few could know the depth and dimension
well enough to write as you do, Miss Lori.

You how much I appreciate you, don't you.

Awe shucks Bluesy,
You make it so easy. You have already painted the picture with all your poems. I just write  'em as I sees 'em. ~L
