I reject that all of this is a master plan the earth its animals, fishes, insects and humans let us just say that if creation is true wonder what were the reason for it all a master builder saw fit to introduce us to sin and yes indeed we have reveled in it ever since we were given our desires for wealth, wars and evil again we’ve done well two out of the three it’s the wealth that most are left out of I do not have it but my friend I don’t envy you yours eh, sometimes I feel health is the only thing worth having even so even though we have good health calamity seizes us and sends us on to the ferryman Charon that is, of course if you truly believe ©June 28, 2014 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ When politicians give up on liberty, it falls to poets to preserve it. Here's a thought:Byron wrote this and he was only in his thirty sixth year.Think how far we have all come in the matter of years and health. "My Days are in the yellow leaf; The flowers and fruit are gone; The worm, the canker and the grief; Are mine alone." Byron |

Ah yes, if you believe... That is the key, what we believe. It colors everything we do. Interesting food for thought, I like where you went with this. Lori |

The problem of evil....a reality I have also struggled with...in my own spiritual journey ...it doesn't fit...and I have come to the same conclusion, Jerry...there is no master builder...it's just us...making our way in the world... Great write ~*~

I hear you, Jo. We have really come a long way from those days of Byron. We have conquered many diseases and made life much better, but it seems evil in the name of war has intensified. ~*~ When politicians give up on liberty, it falls to poets to preserve it. Or write its epitaph. ~*~ |
