somehow I lost the taste
of yesterday
never mind, I know I’ll
get the evolution of tomorrow
so I mop my fevered brow
and laugh
my laughter rings a bell
somewhere in my nether regions
as I journey on
into the final instant

The only constant is the name of that journey.

They say that those who drop dead doing what they love to do, die happy. Well if we are in the midst of something we will always leave things unfinished. That's just the way it is.
