You have no idea what I have seen No idea the pain I've been through Never knowing where to turn Hard when nothing and no one is true You say I am lucky That I should be happy and let it go If only it were that simple You really just don't know I fight back the tears As the memories flood my head and heart There were moments long ago From where I got my first start Memories as cold as ice Memories as dark as the night I have fought and crawled every step Searching for even a glimpse of light Don't tell me how to feel Or that my feelings are wrong It's the same I've always heard So tired of this song Do not speak of things That you have no idea about Simply let all this go I am tired of the doubt "If you can dream it, you can achieve it" [This message has been edited by amk377 (06-16-2014 08:48 AM).] |

Not cool when others try to sort out folks' issues uninvited. Many of us respond according to what's relative in our own reality. The intentions may be good, but there are some things one must simply work out on their own. Myself? I never breathe a word I don't want anyone else to hear. My band-aid tin may be empty but my 'thoughts bank' holds a fortune in pennies. 88's friend She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |
