La-la la la, la-la-la-la la la La-la-la-la la, la-la la,la-la la Tell me, Who was she Who was he, Hold my hand, Make me laugh Make me sad, Cuz bitter is just another Side of sweet. La-la la la, la-la-la-la la la La-la-la-la la, la-la la,la-la la Clicking tongues, Clicking tongues, I wish I knew I wish I knew If it was true. Cuz I'm hurt Cuz I'm hurt... Fingers slip, Words hang on lips unsaid, Was it true? You've been distant, Far away. I didn't know. It's too late I tried to find a quiet place, Escape the sound of settling. Something about what she did and what you'd go for to hang on to her. Lyrical in parts especially as a choral group joins in on the 'la-la's'. I apologize in advance if I come off as insensitive in the face of heartaches. Just sayin'.
