Rhythm of the Rhyme Soon lost in time like the rhythm of the rhyme Perfumed blooms of June its sky reflects the blue Cool breeze to tease the confetti petals fine Rushing waves on pebbles murmur words so true Dappled fawn at dawn in shadow mists of time The touch of moorland grass where once the curlew flew For sundials does time stop if the sun won’t shine Colours of the rainbow is each colour true Trace of lips on crystal red like Bordeaux wine Crimson sky at sunset days like these so few Metronome of heartbeats planets all align Stars in blackest velvet stars that shine for you Slowly losing rhythm never losing time Words of love repeated listen to the rhyme. |

Lovely poem, each and every line could stand alone... and your ending was perfect. Very nice ... |
