The deluge of anticipation struggles to stay afloat while rain on the appletree releases white blooms to the forest a flourish of daydreams on this onset of thunderstorms the clouds play calypso in the twilight expression where we come to this vortex where we can no longer linger what peaks from the many rains that storm the endless trees will inevitably climax, then too soon the branches will be robbed of their foliage as a deluge will trickle down first into a drizzle, resorped then into the mere foam at the shoreline moving further towards the silence, of once, our lustfilled promise, sadly aborting within the impending evaporation [This message has been edited by EmmaRose (05-17-2014 08:23 AM).] |

Emma, Emma, Emma. You are on fire my talented friend. The "anticipation to the white blooms" sets the pace for the rest of the poem, and you do not disappoint. When daydreams are onset by thunderstorms the pain is obvious. Your continued fantastic wordplay in poem after poem is just magical, even to the last verse when lustfilled promises are aborted.
