We sit a world apart Your eyes glimmer Your beauty warms My night becomes day. I watch as you move Grace and beauty To feel but not see It is enough to kiss. We sit across the table I reach out my hand And offer you my soul My words and deeds It will end with a kiss Red lips and a soft heart It will end with a smile A breeze and alone Till the next time. I aint as good as I once was but I'm as good, once, as I ever was. - Toby Keith |

'A breeze and alone' leaves a touch of sadness to an otherwise positive poem. |
