even the walls were sensuous
paintings of ancient gothic masters
strategically placed
and very easy on the eye
we stayed there
in her bedroom all day
our hands
stroking forbidden places
made love
slept and awoke only to eat a bite
you changed the linen
we went back to stroking
making love
taking small naps
I felt like I never wanted to leave
wanted to stay there
forever
until we were old with age
to be discovered
thousands of years from this moment
by men
who marveled
at our entwined skeletons

I envy you the experience of a day but I am saddened that it seems to be remembered as an apex of your life. Maybe at that time it was.
Maybe you were at that point where you were just lucky to be alive and that it did indeed seem like heaven.

I was merely attempting to explain that the wholly satisfying physical experience was one that, at that moment, was just about as wonderful as it could possibly get. I seem to have not gotten that point across very well.

fine writing "thousands of years from this moment" I really enjoyed this line the most...says a lot within the context of the writing...James
