What Compels our Lives? The moon is my lantern on this deep-forest night. These woodland paths of misty-silver perfection lead to heaven or nowhere, like the dreams of all who wander here with the freedom of a mountain stream and sky-vault clouds In this cathedral of wilderness, the mind and heart turn clear that only the humble pursuit of truth, enlightenment, and love should compel our lives. --- b. e. adams (4/5/2014) |

secondhanddreampoet - I liked this. Too bad those humble long range pursuits of truth and love daily collide with our humble short range pursuits of food, clothing, shelter and paycheck. Kinda makes me want to put my boots on and go walking along those lovely poetic paths of yours. Thanks for the well crafted uplift shdp. Now you got me all compelled. Namyh |
