oh boy
first thing in the morning
bathroom stop
then I comb my hair
oops!
that mirror shows no lies
this early morning
naw . . . no bamboozling about age
it is the real thing
staring back atcha
this is like an early morning confessional
this draining away of the years
gearing me up to face the day
