I liken the sun To a woman Ever present, She engulfs me With warmth And majesty Tenders the earth Around me And all upon it Gives life and asks For nothing in return i liken the moon to a man a mere reflection of the sun’s brilliant rays cooler, creating raging seas which ebb and flow and sometimes, not there at all when I really need it |

I like this! I have recently opened something, not quite as well written or yet finished with a similar thought! Cheers |

Lol... I like the poem Jack, though I have always seen the moon as a soft inspiring most definately female lover, and the sun as a slavedriving most definately male, with a grumpy attitude, boss. My jaded vantage point I suppose. Enjoyed the read. Michael |

Jack Napes - We live on a small planet in a tiny solar system of a universe barely out of its diapers where the Sun,like a mother, keeps stable all her planets and with a helping Moon keeps our Earth spinning like a top. Makes me kinda glad to be a member of a species living here. I liked this work JN. Namyh |

Not a bad descriptive summery of insightful thoughts, Jack. ~*~ Better pass boldly into that other world, in the full glory of some passion, than fade and wither dismally with age.--James Joyce ~*~ |
