I had a fish named Oscar Bodeo
He loved his feast of lizards
We let him go
In a crescent lake
To live forever

"Striking thoughts make my mouth thunder as I brain storm."

Crafty and sly poetry.

You did the only thing you could do Kent, and it was the humane thing at that. Reality man. That's what makes good poetry. For my two-bits, I'd like to read it again.

Good 'ol Oscar...what will become of us?

Touch, but don't look

***Drops another coin in the tray***

I still like this as well as the first time Kent.

I agree with you! The power in the piece is that it is very real!

Simple and riveting . . . Liked very much the closing line . . .
