Love and Spring (#2) Another deep-Winter evening settles in with the smell of wood smoke from distant hearths and sounds of dark wolves scratching at the door, amid the dust and bleak shadows of the now, forlorn memory-shades of the past, and fearful mists of futures as yet powerless to be born, to roll the moment into one penultimate question of all of life and truth and time … Can Love be as deep and certain as the boundless hope and promise of the coming Spring? --- b. e. adams (3/13/2014) [This message has been edited by secondhanddreampoet (03-13-2014 09:15 PM).] |

Certainly. It was an act of love that created all things. Touch, but don't look |

quote: Perfect. I very much liked the laid back approach of this poem and the ending with the questions of love, hope and promise. This one, to me, is special. ~*~ Being captured is beside the point, the point is not to surrender.-- Nazim Hikmet ~*~ |
