Some day I have a meeting with time,
If the days follow through
Eh, I’ve grown old body and mind,
Feel I am waiting my due.

My heady years are behind me,
Its for the good I think,
I prostrate myself on one knee,
I’d wish for one more drink.

I do not fear what ‘ere comes next,
Apprehension, perhaps,
My mind is not all that complex,
Hope I’m given a map.

"All the world is a stage" and half the people on it have 'stage fright'. You're not one of them Jerry.

You won't need a "map", just write your own script like you always have. You always got to where you needed to be, now go where you want to be.

Loving Linny Jean is poetry.

Thank you Ari, thank you much for your wonderful, straight-shootin' comment. You have helped me pave the way into the unknown.

Ari speaks the truth about you. Couldn't have said it better myself. ~L
