Tell me in rhyme again guising the truth and deception can no longer fool me You anchor my ears to the ducts of your tears but forget all the years you misruled me ~ Your satellite lifts at my spirit as blissfulness orbits my woes My universe slides to the blinded-most side Your Side-Show blooms under nose ~ We step past a puddle in moonlight conversing "It may hold a star" Do I comprehend or merely pretend reflections seem more than they are ~ Harvested reason plucked freshly this season shrunk down nearly past subatomic Then whys befall lies that mystify eyes when twisting unties astronomic ~ Misinformation in rhyme imperceptible crime and emotion slides easy but lingers In conclusion... confusion whether truth or delusion ~ I'm wrapped around one of two fingers ~~~ |

Ah Rex, life is no guarantee of happiness, even though we may pursue it with gusto. You being "wrapped / around one / of two fingers" lets me know that you still have that happiness dream, as well you should. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

didn't get all the expressions of it (one of the two fingers ?), i feel that we have to go ahead, that life is not so easy, but we respond as long as we breath, quite nice reading yann |

Love this poem! The flow and rhyme is to die for! Felt like a song to me. This may be my favorite of your writings. ~L |

Yann... I don't always catch the correct wave either when I read another's writing. The two fingers I could be wrapped around would be either the little pinky or the middle plunger ![]() Lori... I'm really glad you liked this one. It does sing out a little and raises about an octave in the last line ![]() ![]() ![]() |
