it is quite satisfactory to tread the very same ground and on the very same earth as she does its enough yes, quite enough to share the very same night's stars shining down on us my vanity has never been so huge that I thought I could lasso the wind or change the directions of tornadoes or hurricanes my vanity is full to the bursting point when daily I feel love for her it engulfs me like a grand symphony where all the musical instruments have blended together bathing me saturating me and making me smile ©July 31, 2016 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Beautifully penned poetry of love JerryPat. It reminds me of that cliche` sounding phrase "worshiping the ground she walks on". I actually said that once and I'm not even religious. I think she swooned when I said it, but your poetry might have got her to... BTS ...just bein' Bluesy |

Hey Bluesy! Thank you most generously for your kind thoughts and words about my write. I had to smile when you said . . . "but your poetry might have got her to..." Got her to what I don't know, but it all feels good to me. Thank you again! ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Oh, I was meaning to say something sexual that would have led to Ron swooping down on us sending your poem to the great abyss otherwise known as "Insights". Hmm..."Insights"? Yeah, right! You and I are in need of "insights" aren't we! Peace upon you JerryPat...and one or two on me. Got any of that cheap burgundy of yours chilled? I like it room temp too! As long as it's not Boone's Farm or Ripple. Nah, I'll have them if I can't find what I want. I like a jug of Emerald Chablis now and then when I can find it. Well then, I'm off my friend to search for morning. Maybe if I sit real still, it'll find me. See ya pal. ...just bein' Bluesy |
