Fair to middlin' of nowhere

The demon still lurks in the dark.
Questions fly like fists,
never hitting their mark.
Waiting in the hell of not knowing,
choking on speculation.
Worry is a waking shadow
that disappears in the light of sleep.
Revelation a double-edged sword
of anticipation and dread.
A week is an eternity.
A week is no time at all.
And so the rollercoaster
rides on.

So sorry to hear of your worrying time, I know it can dominate every waking minute. Another worry you probably have is the cost of treatment, if that becomes necessary.
My thoughts are with you.

Cari.

Cari,
I appreciate your concern. Dennis and I are both natural born worriers anyway and yes, money is an issue. Thank goodness he has insurance now, a few years ago he didn't. ~L

Blues,
I'm honing my skills of looking for the silver lining.  It has brought Dennis and I much closer. I'm very grateful. ~L

Thanks for thinking of us Jerry,
The prognosis is better than we had expected.
They believe they can cure it with chemo and radiation. The fight is on now! ~L

You sound optimistic, Lori, which is the only way to be in situations like this and life in general. I'm hoping for the best.
