A Sinful Nature "There will come a day when you grow weary of hurting those around you, and you will seek forgiveness, fully understanding that you are a sinner that needs to be saved from your sinful nature." You know what I have found as this thing called life goes around; too many times I have brought pain upon myself, and those special to me, by my failures to love and forgive, at the same time bringing pain to our lives by my wrong or selfish choices; to choose to love is a choice, to choose to hurt or not hurt those close to you is a choice, in this life choices can be good or evil, right or wrong, good or bad, wise or just plain stupid, you can choose well and bring Gods goodness to you and those you care for; the most important good choice you can make is to receive Jesus as your Savior, He will show you the way. "Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."...John 14:6 "But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life." "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."...Romans 6:22, 23. JamesLee 10/11/16 |

Isn't there a forum for this type of message? It appears that you've been here long enough to know that. I mean it's poetry, so I guess that's okay as poetry goes but don't you think this would be better received in the spiritual forum? Just sayin' guy. One ladle serves the soup that feeds the mouths of the many. |

I don't have any issue with this poetry of yours James. I get Boomer's point, but to me it's like driving by a church that I simply don't wish to attend. More options and choices Boomer, not more police. Inspiring and meaningful poetry is always a good choice...for me. Loving Linny Jean is poetry. |

I like the message within your poem James Michael. I once replied to a political post that rhymed only to have my reply edited. Left a bad taste in my mouth...it was clearly a poem so I was told, and my reply was clearly a personal attack. Although almost every reply addressed the political statement opposed to the "poem" Rhyme and reason you know. |
