it began as a passing fancy or so it was described a flash in the pan, Oh! Mercy! coming in and then out like the tide the years, some said, would make a difference when the boredom of time settles in surely this "love" will have ended twice as fast as it did begin so wished those of envious displeasure with ears full of septic-like waste lips that could make crystal shatter and tongues layered with a vulgar distaste to dispatch these rogues of their language would to me be like swatting a fly however as the tin cans followed behind us it was much sweeter just to tell them good-Bye I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather...not like the passengers screaming in the back of his car. |

Loved it.Loved it.LOVED it! This is a gritty piece of poetry, DV, without being vulgar about it. I absolutely love it when when I am surprised when a poem makes me smile as I read its ending lines. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Different stroke for you Stacy Lynn! I'm liking it a lot! P.S What's up with Billy Willy-Nilly? Tap it out to me! One ladle serves the soup that feeds the mouths of the many. |
