Giving Love More Space to Exist

As I tried to accommodate
the desires of Love
that lived in my heart
I would find that sometimes
slices of anger,
slices of displeasure,
would seem to be imposing
their will upon the pie,
that circle that lived inside of my heart,
as if Love was a commodity
that would come and go as it wished;
but I also noticed that the absence
of the presence of actions
like anger and arguing
and displeasure and hatred
seemed to give Love much
more space to exist.
