Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Too many emotions clamoring,
their voices cancel each other out,
muting my muse.
The agony of what if’s upon finding a lump,
the terror of imaging life without him.
Waiting for appointments
and through surgery.
Witnessing the pain and discomfort
of recovery.
Waiting for biopsy results,
praying for a sigh of relief.

I've wondered where you were, Lori, and now the mystery is solved. I wish with all my heart that things will go well . . .

My friends,
The pathology report was not good. We see an oncologist next week to see what the next step is. Thanks for the prayers, we'll be needing them. ~L

It hurts me to hear this . . . Maybe something can be done.
