A Kiss in the Morning Mist I remember you perhaps more than you want me to, I was so happy to be in your presence that I wanted the night to never end, but of course it did and then as a new day began two lovers hugged and kissed in the morning mist, upon the middle of that day I flew away to a far away land where bombs are wake-up calls where bullets might be served with breakfast and incomings becoming a way of life, time and circumstance wait for no one and I require you not to wait for me, but if you do when I come back I'll spend some time with you, perhaps continuing where we left off, two lovers sharing soft words, a hug and a kiss in the morning mist. This is very good, James. Special. ~*~ It's not that the man did not know how to juggle, he just didn't have the balls to do it. ~*~ |

All too familiar sounds James followed by "incoming"!...as if you needed to be told. I also relate to the girl (always a girl, right?). She worked at a bank and I was going to meet with her on an R&R in Sydney. She changed her plans and I , mine. I ended up in Bangkok and came back with a swell memento, if you know what I mean. One of those 'pipe' gripping mementos. You shouldn't have reminded me, but your poetry was a very good read. That's what poetry should do in my opinion, stir feelings and create images. Well done! ...just bein' Bluesy |
