September Falling |

September Falling~ If one could wrap themselves inside a season it would be Fall for me, but I cry with the descent of leaves, wanting to jump into a pile of those reds and golds, let them smother my sadness. Thoughts scatterd, confused, questioning everything in the way one does when disillusion devours all the given's. I see the ghost of my Mother at the far end of a leaf strewn path, I see myself hollering "wait for me'..and Mother would, if she could. This Autumn has caught me with my head down, I thought it would be just the opposite at this point in my life, but life doesn't let you off that easily, maybe it's time to shift..once again, perhaps as a hermit-lady who writes Poems in the backyard, plants pumpkin seeds, and hums old love songs to cold stars. "perhaps as a hermit-lady who writes Poems in the / backyard, plants pumpkin seeds, and hums old love / songs to cold stars." Oooh! . . . I loved these three lines rainyj. You said your head was down. I am sorry to hear that, and my hope is that you will be able to lift that head up to see and bask in the sunshine of your life very quickly . . . Love your photo . . . ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

So many emotions have we. What's heavy for some is light for others, these burdens we carry. Our calendars have four seasons, but we have many. Embrace each one as it is, dear writer. When your head is down, delight in your feet, for they will take you to happier grounds that are also in your current view. A woman that can tell of her feelings so eloquently, can talk herself in or out of any dilemma. Of this, I have great faith. Loving Linny Jean is poetry. |
