Why write?
When it has all been said before.
It is said, there are no original stories...
Anymore

Trust me, there are better poets
Someone or some ones have written mine
Here and there

With a quill better than mine
A mind more skillful than thine.

History repeats
It's all been said and done.

After all, it is written.

"There is nothing new...
Under the sun."

Your Ecclesiastic reference is a good fit for your thought-provoking poetry 'martiniat8'...there is much truth within its confines. The struggle for originality itself seems to be redundant. We are so much of what surrounds us. Perhaps deeper spiritual meditations will unlock doors previously closed, providing a glimpse of eternity.

Loving Linny Jean is poetry.

So what? I can say what I say in my voice. That counts for me.

Whatever I have written probably has been said before. The pursuit of a creative soul's happiness is to say it in a unique way, capture the same familiar feelings of love and life that everybody knows so well already but do it in a way that they'll remember. There is only so much quality stuff the brain will hold on to anyway.

Like this. Well written and expressed. Good writing yields open eyes with open hearts.

yes all have been said since antiquity, but we are new voices on earth, we see the Word with our eyes, we feel with our hearts, what a pleasure to share it too, like great auteurs,
all we have to do, I guess is to keep humbles and bring some love, loved your words
