I found a little box I brought it to my home I took it to my room I opened the little box I saw her there, in the corner of the box I lifted her out on my finger I saw that she had been crying I wanted to ask her why I was surprised to know that she was sad I turned in circles to dry her tears I then saw a smile evolve as we twirled about I was happy to see that she had wings I saw her begin to move them, first slow...then faster I delighted in their fluttering and she rose from my finger I saw her smile widen and my room became warmer I saw her wave to me as she turned...and flew out my window I started to feel sad I felt I had lost a friend I started to cry I looked at the box, and it seemed bigger now I climbed into the box and laid in the corner I let the box close slowly over me I hope someone will one day find me One ladle serves the soup that feeds the mouths of the many. |

I liked this for sure. I think most of us have our own special box to lay in, hoping . . . ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |
