Remembering the playgrounds of days gone past. Dizzy with fear and yet delighted.Enjoying squeals of laughter, mixed emotions. The Playgrounds today are so much different. Much more complicated and and still we swing and teeter totter and spin in circles of emotion. Not as much fun as days gone past. jo |

I agree with your thoughts, Jo, and the young today will be saying much the same when they are old and are seeing what thrills the youngsters of their day. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Hi Jo, great to read this lovely...but bittersweet, memories of days now gone, and reflections of maybe what is to come, who knows, but, I think we're all glad we grew up in the times we did...they were in fact gifts...hugs...Lee J. |

Returning from the playground with skinned knees and pant cuffs full of sand. Kids only our mothers could love. Loving Linny Jean is poetry. |

At least kids on new designed playgrounds today are safer than we were. ~L |

Jo, Enjoyed your thoughts, I always loved to swing, especially at night.. even to this day, but leery of that in these times. rainyj |
