there was an abundance of possibilities
a caricature with overdone brushstrokes
you were fashioned by master of his art
your clear-eyed blue eyes stared at me

your voice, seethed with lust, spoke to me
as soothing as hummingbird wings
you arrested me in that moment of desire
I was stripped bare of whatever soul I had

you greedily took me and enjoyed my flesh
your fingers drew blood circles on my back
I was helpless to resist; your craving was mine
you stopped your manipulations and said to me

Honey, would you bite this apple just for me?

Lost in the Garden of Eden. We have all been there, my friend.
