My fingers found their way between the thorns when my motivation was also in it's proper place. Good thoughts in your poetry Lori, for those who may not be so sure. As the Poison song goes, "Every Rose Has It's Thorn". Maybe a dandelion would suffice on the first date. You don't need gloves to pick them and they're much more economical.

Yes, gloves or not, it'd be good if I'd actually smell the flowers rather than just write about it. ~L

Do you know: On this side of The Pond, modern roses have no scent? That is sad. Thick gloves have nothing to do with scent, but they are worrying.

Say it isn't so! I know some here have little smell but I have a variety that is very fragrant but thorny. ~L
