it was quite satisfactory
to tread
the very same ground
and on the very same earth
she did
it was enough
yes, quite enough
to share the very same night's stars
that shined down upon us
my vanity
has never been so huge
that I thought I could lasso the wind
or change the direction
of tornadoes or hurricanes
my vanity is full to the bursting point
when daily
I feel love for her
it engulfs me
like a grand symphony
where all the musical instruments
have blended together
bathing me
saturating me and making me smile

I have fallen back in love with a woman that I knew when we were kids. We touched bases a few times when were in our twenties. After that time we ended up far from one another. I was curious when all this techy search stuff came my way via a friend of mine who I had discussed 'Linny' with. He found her in a Texas prison where she had been for 23 years. She's eligible for parole in'18 and we're getting back together.

Your poetry struck a chord in me Jerry, a perfectly tuned grouping of strings if you will. A truly wonderful poem that compelled me to tell you of my love for this gal of mine. It's my intention to make her the happiest woman on the planet. Thanks in advance for letting me include all this in my reply.

So very well written Jerry, it really was a joy to read. Thank you again.

Ari S.

More feelings and fewer words please

Jerry, I think you just helped someone decide to change a life for the better. You'd think a Christmas miracle just occurred. Hugs.

I hope you are right in your assumption, and that change will be a shinning ray of light forevermore!
