1 If the drizzle falls to Paris, Do not call it Breton drizzle, He is more Parisian than something else, And moreover it is often raining On this elusive big city, This capital of gutters Where the water streams hard. 2 Of the sea was born the child, Oceanic and spiritual, Innocent as the light, Indebted of the smile of the blue whales. And I count the pure hours Where you do not belong to me. |
