we want love
we know the feeling will be so wonderful
everything in its right place
the feeling will be intense
so much so that we seek love at every turn
it is understood
passion can fail to comprehend
common sense
and so . . .
one cancels out rational thought
demanding overpowering, extreme love
as the heart ventures steadfastly
eternally, and unsuccessfully
to the peak of collapsing
the words in your head shout
our misery
at the love which is being denied
until we hear our hearts
speaking loud and clear
do not go after love for love’s sake
chill . . .
love will seek you out

fine photo-imagery as well as the poetic presentation!

we've all flipped that 'rationality disconnect' Love switch
at times, and it can truly wreak devastation on the soul.
