Feeling Lifted Today, the rainy days are here But a smile has lifted the moment's drear For old friends whose memories rise When seeing words brings tears to eyes. Not ones of sadness, although with time The losses of friendships and family (mine). But wishes for all who bear the weight A future where caring is never too late For time that's left in friendships' hold One's words are treasured as if in gold. Got up this morning to my normal morning ritual, rubbing the sleep away, first thing necessaries and . . . yes! - Coffee's Done! But instead of sitting down with the first cup and watching what's called "News" now-a-days, I pulled up PiP, - WoW, what a start to the day! First line on the forum - Your Smiling Face! Now That made my whole day worthwhile! Good to see you, my friend, and know you're well - My thoughts, invisible though they are, are often surrounding you. jimmy |
