James Island

It's not a place
that's so very far away
still it could seem like a lifetime
if you don't know the way,
to a place where you can
take beautiful scenic walks at night
and seem like it is secluded,
yet its not far from city lights,
all of the beauty of nature
awaits your visit there;
beautiful flowers and trees
in every color,
the birds,
the bee's
and deers and bears,
but never fear
you and nature
can live in harmony here,
a safe place that is always near
for this life that you hold dear;
if you want His help
you only need to call out to Him,
the one that Loves you,
the everlasting friend,
the one who shed His righteous blood
for me and for you,
His name is Jesus Christ
and He's reaching out His hands
of Love and forgiveness,
His words of Salvation to you are true!!!

How I wish we can just conjure a place like this and a flying carpet will take me there - just for a while maybe while I close my eyes to forget the daily rugged roads I travel. I admire such great unwavering faith - these days I even wonder how to survive through it all
