even a dim light
can envelop a dark room with
sights unseen
poetry, once written
and spoken is everything
the poet is not
when a kiss is sincere
that special feeling it inspires
means more than
the two lips
pressed together
my feelings for her
the poems I write whether she read or not
are so much greater
than her or I
we are but vessels
to accept or reject our poems
to each other
looking upon the majesty of it all
those paying close attention
are able see your gorgeousness and
my madness

When you said : "when a kiss is sincere that special feeling it inspires means more than
the two lips pressed together" I thought it was a very wise thing to say! I'm going to remember that for a long time! I'll just say a friend told me that once! I always find something special in your poems Jerry and I'll bet everyone else does too!

If I were more than I am, I'd see things differently instead of the same all the time.
