  All That Need Be Said

Though I have ‘painted’
a thousand magic images,
bright and deep, in so
very many poems of
Love and Nature ...
each which sought,
perhaps in vain, to
tempt perfection from
the boundless, unforgiving
canvass of the empty page,
and to capture Love’s
grand-immeasurable
effect on all that that
I am or could ever
hope to be ...
when my spirit-heart
first spoke to yours,
I simply must believe
you had, even then,
already heard all
the 'words' that
ever need be said  ...
You were listening
with your fine mind
  and spirit-heart;
thus, you do "know me" ...
May Love come silently
and gently on the wings
  of the dove
in a choice to forgive life,
‘let go’ of the past, and
simply rejoice in the sharing
and celebration of the ‘now!’

Very nice poem ending with some good advice!

If I were more than I am, I'd see things differently instead of the same all the time.
