   New Beginnings

On this Winter night
of resplendent wonder
beneath a vast-eternal
sky of floating clouds
and weightless dreams,
as somewhere far away
in the dancing moonlit
  shadows,
the ancient spirit-wind
seems to sing some
long forgotten Celtic tune
of life and loss and love ...
I have simply come to ask
  the universe
by what perfect magic words,
beyond all past and future
misty shores of life's
cascading sorrows,
may I bridge the space
between our hearts.

Thanks again, "Blues!" ... for commenting on this ever-so-humble lil' "word painting!"

Dear Bruce, your words are so perfectly beautiful that I just have to sigh ...

The bridge is made of love and can't be destroyed, as long as through the longing you establish the contact. Universe knows a Poet's heart!
