Put your hand upon my shoulder as lightly as a feather. So I will know you are close caring tenderly. With every step I take I will be able to hear your song of love and I will hum along. I will trust the direction my feet will take and more so I will trust my soul who guides me while I climb higher into the spheres of light where everything is all right. Where love reigns, where tears are dried, where I am truly One with divine creation, where I allow the universal flow of love to fill me and to comfort me in all of my human suffering. Keep your hand upon my shoulder as lightly as a feather, my Angel, my Love, my Everything. |

A beautiful poem from a beautiful heart. Nice poem for me to read this morning. Thank you, Margherita. "Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance." |

Oh boy, Margherita, you give the reader much to decipher. While this could be spiritual in nature, it could also be as one with the now and the one who puts a hand on your shoulder could actually be walking beside you. I loved this, whichever way you felt in your heart when you penned it. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

This brought buckets of tears as yesterday our dear friend died of cancer. His wife is devastated along with all of his family and friends. Even though it was a blessing that he suffers no more, it is so damn hard to lose a friend. Thank you for these words as they brought comfort despite my tears! Hugs sweet lady, Marti "Faith is taking the first step |

Very lovely indeed Miss Margherita. Within it all, I found this particularly attractive: quote: 88's friend She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

Thank you, my dear Poet friends, Lori, Namyh, MissMarti and Danny, for your most kind and loving comments, which I highly appreciate. I am sorry for your loss of a dear friend, dear MissMarti. Comfort comes when the bond of love survives physical separation. We really can feel the presence of our loved ones who have gone Home. Hugs. Love and hugs. Margherita |
