I can grant your every wish
And laugh at your choices
~
Plat the strings of emotion
And bind you tight to lost causes
~
Mix your desires
Into a whirlpool of lust
~
I can sell you contentment
And call later with the bill
~
But I can give you what you long for
And bestow years of happiness

Many interpretations are reserved to the term "Love", indeed we adore love when it is full of promises "the state of being in love", which makes us blind and irrational. Then we begin to add ingredients of poisonous emotions and we transform it into something totally different. LOVE in its highest meaning is incorruptible.

I enjoyed your take on it, it is thought provoking.
