The phone rings
my slumber depressed
Eyes adjust as I fumble to respond
A beautiful sound eclipses my ear
The voice of sweet applause I hear
We talk, converse, laugh and sigh
Thru-out the darkness of evenings midnight
Minds filled with desire, anticipation
Promise of life, appreciation, admiration
A phone call is all, one scared to make
But when brave, breathing becomes easy, life begins to smile, adoration moves from fingertips to being

sim0riah, That is a great feeling..isn't it..nerves disappear, replaced by an easy-breezy contentment.

Enjoyed..

The voice of a woman is a salve for all wounds, as you now know.

Your appreciation of the fairer is well noted.

Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me!
