Each New Tomorrow Soft lunar shadows dance with quick-silver moonbeams to the plaintiff tune of a pure Winter wind on this night of Autumn passing. A silent evening frost paints this great broad Earth in cold-fantastic forms, with the brush of infinitesimal moments and eternal change, under a boundless mantle of ever-spinning constellations. The mind and heart turn to memories of all our loves forever lost; yet a fledgling hope rises and grows imperceptibly but inexorably amid the finest dreams of Love and each new tomorrow. --- b. e. adams (12/19/2015) |
