An anomalous mist In a forest of proclivity A stark reminder Of towering meadows And sunken mountains That placed my wishes Alongside my ambitions In an effort to borne Of them twins Yet of them today lay Distinctions of yesterday That are lost in... An anomalous mist In a forest of proclivity Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |

Wow, Mr. Martini, what fantastic imagery ... "towering meadows and sunken mountains" ... I am captivated by your refined writing and I always find the opportunity to learn new words to store in my English vocabulary. Thank you for that! Ok, and now let the fresh morning breeze disperse the mist of this forest of proclivity! Exquisite! Margherita |

Proclivity, and anomaly are the two things that make a person unique...sticking strictly to each makes the person pretty boring...together they make a person interesting.. Well done MM "Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance." |

Ahhh . . . You are scoring big, Mr Martini, and I understand why, as simple wording as this beauty of a poem is, it is deep and very unique. ~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~ |
