Mr Martini Member Posts 366 Beneath The Line |
A veil lifted from the Earth Mothers' face, Revealing her soft dark eyes and gentle smile Her brilliance cast a shimmering glow Upon waterfalls of tears which then became deserts Beauty and despondency mirrored each other Taking bitter and sweet in timeless torture I like it like that, a full spectrum of feelings The good, the bad, and the indifferent After all, she only lent herself to me She never said I could have her Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |
